The Antonio Pereira Foundation, during 2009, worked on the following activities: 1º) Conferences Cycle, 2º) Summer Courses Support; 3º) Preparation of the Foundation Grounds; 4)º Other matters.
1º) Conferences Cycle, “Encuentros literarios: Vienen los editores”. Place: Obra Cultural de Caja España

2º) Summer Courses Support.
According to the Foundation Activities Program, approved in the correspondent meeting, the Foundation helped financing two summer courses in the University of Leon, with a budget of 3.000 euros for each course.
De acuerdo con el Programa de Actividades de la “Fundación Antonio Pereira” aprobado en la reunión correspondiente del Patronato, la citada Fundación apoyó presupuestariamente dos cursos de verano de la Universidad de León, con una cantidad de 3.000 Euros para cada curso:
- “La Orden del Temple: Mito, historia y símbolo”. Directed by Dr. César García Álvarez, in Ponferrada from 7th to 10th of july, 2009.
- “Tradiciones y formatos en el comic y el cine de animación”. Directed by Dr. José Manuel Trabado Cabado, in León from 6th to 9th of july 2009.
3º) Grounds of the Foundation.
A room in the Library of the University of Leon (Campus) became the grounds of the Foundation. The inauguration date, with the president of the Junta de Castilla y León, was on the 21st of december.
4º) Other matters.
Design of the logo of the Foundation and creation of a website, among others.
